CEKOL ZW-04

FROST AND WATER RESISTANT EVENING-UP PLASTER

FEATURES:
CEKOL ZW-04 is used for patching defective surfaces and evening up walls and floors. CEKOL ZW-04 is also used as a floor base material. Using CEKOL ZW-04 as a base reduces consumption of adhesive plasters and self-levelling floors in the repair and finishing work. For floors, suitable plasters are also e.g. CEKOL ZP-03 or the CEKOL L-01 self-levelling floor.

PROPERTIES:
CEKOL ZW-04 is a factory made dry mixture of cement, mineral fillers, modifying additives and aggregate. Maximum grain size is 3 mm. It is a frost and water resistant plaster for use inside and outside buildings. CEKOL ZW-04 is an efficient, easy to use and absolutely harmless product.

BASE PREPARATION:
The base should be clean, compact, carrying and free of grease. Paints, loose sand and plaster particles and layers not bound with the base must be removed. Prime the base with the CEKOL DL-80 priming emulsion. The CEKOL ZW-04 plaster is used on the brick, concrete or gas concrete bases. In the case of an old, hard to repair concrete, it may be used together with the CEKOL T-60-A bonding plaster (CEKOL T-60-A should be used in accordance with the respective instruction).

APPLICATION:
Pour the package contents to cold water in the proportion of 0.16 to 0.20 liter of water for 1 kg of dry powder and mix thouroughly, best with a bucket mixer. Pour powder to water. Mix is ready for use immediately after mixing and maintains its properties for 2 hours. If the mixture thickens, mix it thoroughly again without adding water. Apply the mix to the prepared primed base with a trowel or a smooth steel float. The mix may be applied in an up to 5 cm thick layer at a time. Protect the mix from too quick drying. Fresh mix requires curing typical of cement plasters. Tile laying may start after 48 hours. Floor coverings, boards, parquets, panels etc. may be laid after drying to the moisture content ≤ 2 %.
